More bridge delays this weekendPublished on July 30th, 2010 By SEWARD PHOENIX LOG STAFF Emergency work will be done on Ptarmigan Creek Bridge on the Seward Highway beginning this evening, according to the City of Seward. The work may extend through the weekend. The bridge will remain open to one lane traffic, controlled by flaggers, throughout the period of this work. DOT/PF will erect sign boards on the Seward and Anchorage sides of the bridge to alert drivers of the possible delay at the bridge. At this time there are no weight restrictions on the bridge except for over size loads. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
